good experience with Workskills
Overall quite satisfied with how the course was structured. The mentors were approachable and the content was relevant to what companies are actually asking for. Got my IIT certification and it's been showing results in my job search. Nothing extraordinary to complain about, just a solid, dependable program.

IIT tag is helpful in getting shortlists
Before Workskills I was applying to the same roles and getting ghosted. After I added the IIT certified course to my resume the shortlist rate noticeably went up. The course content itself is solid but honestly the IIT branding does a lot of the heavy lifting in getting you past the resume filter. Would recommend just for that alone.

live projects were good
The live projects are what set Workskills apart from other platforms I've tried. You're working on real datasets with real problems — not sanitised textbook examples. My capstone project involved actual messy data and I had to figure out how to clean and analyse it from scratch. That experience directly came up in my interviews. Very glad I picked this course.

Thanks Workskills for my 1st Job
I'm writing this on my first day at my new company. It honestly hasn't sunk in yet. 6 months ago I had no clear direction. Then Workskills, then the IIT certification, then the placement support kicked in. My mentor was with me through every step — resume, interview prep, salary negotiation. First job, first salary. Thank you Workskills team from the bottom of my heart.

live classes + recordings were good
I work a 9-to-6 so I couldn't always make the live sessions on time. The recordings were crisp and well-edited — not just raw streams. But when I did attend live I found the interaction really valuable, questions got answered properly. The combo of live + recorded is honestly the best format for working professionals. Well thought out.
✓ Pros
Both live and recorded options available, good for working professionals.
✗ Cons
Live sessions sometimes run a bit long.

AI curriculum is quite updated
Joined specifically because I wanted to upskill in AI and was worried the content would be outdated like most courses. Workskills AI modules were actually current — covered things I was reading about in recent papers. GenAI applications, prompt engineering, practical ML workflows. My manager was surprised by how up to date my knowledge was when I joined. Big plus.

very intensive, need to put efforts
Don't join thinking this is a casual course you can breeze through. The workload is real — projects, assignments, mentor sessions all need serious attention. I'm not complaining, that's exactly what I wanted. But if you're looking for a lightweight certificate, this isn't it. If you put in the work, the output is very much worth it. Three months of consistent effort changed my career trajectory.
✓ Pros
Rigorous curriculum that builds real skills, great if you're committed.
✗ Cons
Very demanding — not suitable if you can't dedicate serious time.

About halfway through the course and already feeling the difference. The AI modules are genuinely fascinating and the mentor explains concepts in a way that sticks. Projects are challenging but the community Discord is super helpful when you're stuck. Can't wait to finish and see the final outcome. Will update but so far — absolutely loving it.

Learnt so much in AI
The AI track at Workskills is genuinely comprehensive. I went from someone who barely understood what an LLM was to someone who is now building AI pipelines at work. The IIT certification gives it credibility but the actual learning is what matters — and the learning is excellent. My team lead was shocked by how quickly I ramped up after completing the course.

worth every rupee honestly
I agonised over the fee for a while. Now I'm 3 months post-completion and placed with a salary that recovered the fee in the first week itself. The ROI is absurd. Mentor support was exceptional, IIT certification adds real weight, and the projects gave me portfolio pieces that actually get recruiters talking. Don't overthink it like I did.

What surprised me most was how proactive the placement team was. They didn't wait for me to ask — they reached out with openings, prep tips, and interview schedules. not for the faint hearted but 100% worth it
The course demands discipline. Week 3 I almost quit because the assignments were piling up alongside my job. Mentor talked me through it, adjusted my schedule, and I pushed on. By week 10 I was ahead of the curriculum. The struggle was the point — you come out genuinely skilled, not just certified. Real talk: if you're serious about your career, do this.

Didn't even need to change companies. Finished the Workskills AI course, built a couple of dashboards and automation tools for my own team, showed it to my manager — got promoted to Senior Associate within 2 months. The IIT certification gave the whole thing credibility internally too. Sometimes the best job switch is the one within your own company.

Been in the workforce 7 years and I know when course content is fluff vs actually relevant. doubt sessions were actually useful, not just a formality
I've been in courses where doubt sessions are just a box-ticking exercise — mentors barely engaged, questions answered vaguely. Workskills doubt sessions were genuinely interactive. The mentor would go deep on a concept if needed, not rush through a queue. Sometimes sessions ran 20 mins over because the discussion was too valuable to cut short. That's the sign of a good program.
✓ Pros
Highly interactive doubt sessions, mentors go deep when needed.
✗ Cons
Sessions fill up fast — book your slot well in advance.

Honestly the IIT certification was the main reason I chose Workskills over 3 other platforms. And I'm glad I did. First 3 weeks were genuinely rough. The pace was faster than I expected and I was struggling to keep up while managing my day job. would have been 5 stars if batch size was smaller
The content quality is genuinely 5 stars. The IIT certification is legitimate. The projects are excellent. My one real frustration was that live cohort sessions sometimes had 40+ people which made individual interaction difficult. 1-on-1 mentor sessions compensated for this, but I'd have loved smaller batches for the group sessions. Otherwise a very strong program.
✓ Pros
Excellent content, strong IIT certification, good 1-on-1 mentorship.
✗ Cons
Cohort sessions can feel crowded — smaller batches would help.

honest review — 4 stars, one area needs work
The course is genuinely strong and I'd recommend it. Four stars instead of five purely because the placement support is more effective for metro cities — I'm from Nagpur and felt the hiring partner network was thinner here. The IIT certification still got me calls through direct applications but I wish the placement reach was wider. The core learning experience is excellent.
✓ Pros
Strong curriculum, excellent IIT certification, solid mentorship.

Placement network stronger in metros than Tier-2 cities.

structured learning path is what I needed
I'd been trying to self-learn AI for a year with random YouTube videos and free courses. The problem was I didn't know what to learn in what order. Workskills solved that. 3 star because placement took longer than expected
The course itself is genuinely good — learning is solid, IIT cert is real, mentor was helpful. But I was told placement support typically results in a role within 2-3 months and it took me nearly 6. The market is competitive and I understand that, but the expectation setting could be more realistic. Still placed, still satisfied with skills learnt. But manage your timeline expectations.

I compared Workskills AI curriculum against 4 other platforms before joining. You can tell the difference between course content made by academics vs people who've worked in industry. decent experience, minor things to polish
Overall a positive experience. The core learning — AI curriculum, live projects, IIT certification — is excellent. Few things I'd flag: the onboarding process took almost a week to complete which felt slow, and one of the recorded modules had audio quality issues. Reported it, got fixed in a few days. The team is responsive to feedback. 4 stars for genuine good intent and quality, minus 1 for small execution gaps.

The content is legitimately good and the IIT certification has value. My issue is with some of the placement-related claims in the marketing. The support is real but the outcomes vary significantly by background and effort level. Not everyone gets placed in 2 months. Took me over 7 months and I had to be very persistent.
